A fragment of a cast lead strip. A similar object has been recorded on this database WMID-EF3192 and has been interpreted as a plaque commemorating Napolean Bonaparte. Cast into the plaque is decorated with an eagle with wings outstretched, standing left. The Eagle was adopted by Napoleon as his standard, and its presence on this plaque suggests that it held a similar function to the one recorded at WMID-EF3192. The reverse is plain and the object is broken and bent.
