Cut sheet copper alloy shoe or clog clasp (male fitting), which would have been used with a similar hasp (female fitting) to secure a wooden shoe (overshoe) to the foot. The clasp is rectangular with a small incomplete sub-rectangular projection (hook) on one edge and an irregular lozenge shaped projection at the other. The small hook is abraded and incomplete; at the opposite end, the projection is broadly shaped like an anchor and was used to secure the clasp to the fabric.
