Modern (probably Victorian) silver tube from a pen or pencil casing. The tube is now bent and distorted. There is a plain band at the upper terminal. The surface of the tube is covered in grooves long its length. There is a rectangular slot down the side, located about 10mm from the upper terminal, and this slot would have contained the slide mechanism to move the pencil lead.
It is 80mm long, 7.26mm in diameter. Weight 10.4 grams (filled with soil).
