An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD).
The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920.
This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end.
35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g.

An incomplete Modern cast copper-alloy military button of the Hampshire Fencible Cavalry (c. 1794-1801).
This silver plated button is circular in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. At the front it has a raised rim. Within the rim a raised design consists of circular frond with regularly spaced leaves. It has enclosed serifed capital letters: H F/L D. The rear face has a maker's mark in serifed capital letters: .FIRMIN & WESTALL.STRAND. At the centre of the rear face there is a stub of the missing loop.

A Modern cast base-metal military button with a white-metal coating.
A button of the Isle of Wight Artillery and Infantry Volunteer Corps.
The button is circular, convex at the front and concave at the rear. At the front it has a raised design consisting of a medieval drum tower with I*W*V in serifed capitals below (Isle of Wight Volunteers). It has a six-pointed star at each side of the letter W. At the rear there is a stub of the missing loop. Diameter: 20.47mm; thickness: 2.76mm. Weight: 3.39g.

An incomplete Modern cast-lead pencil sharpener of 19th century date (c. 1850-c. 1900).
The lower part is hollow and cone-shaped to house the pencil. It has a rim at the base and a vertical slot at one side. On the opposite side of the slot there is a raised cartouche or similar feature with initials, possibly S O. The decorative handle end is sub-triangular in plan and pointed in side view. It is very thin and flimsy with no means of attachment other than the down-turned rim. On the front is the raised word: VECTIS in serifed capital letters. The V is larger than the other letters.

An unidentified silver object, probably a jewellery item of probable Modern date.
This object consists of two main elements.
It has a quadrilateral frame with its top side forming a shallow 'V' and the lower point of the frame is soldered to a sub-lozenge shaped plate.
The frame is bevelled on the inner and outer edges at the front and back forming a lozenge-shape in cross-section. Short and regularly spaced lengths of twisted wire are soldered to the outer bevels of the frame on the front and back.
