Modern white-metal wire finger ring. The hoop is formed of two narrow strips of wire, which are twisted together into three knots on the bezel, a larger complex knot in the centre flanked by two smaller ones. The wire has a square cross-section.
This ring was examined by the British Museum to decide whether it should be reported as Treasure. Barry Ager commented that the square section of the wire suggests probable machine manufacture; Judy Rudoe commented that it was likely to be not earlier than the 19th century. Treasure Case 2012 T76 Modern pressed metal pendant

Description: Incomplete white metal pendant in the form of a cross. It is formed of two pressed sheets of white metal, with a visible seam around the edges, which has cracked open in several places. The cross arms terminate in a trefoil design, with a small spherical knop on the foot of the cross. There is a break at the apex of the cross, where a suspension loop would have been attached.
It is 22.80mm long, 14.09mm wide, 1.86mm thick and weighs 1.03 grams.
