A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy amphora-shaped strap-end. The body is flat and triangular with bevelled edges and decoration on one face. In the wider end there is a slit to allow a strap to be attached; a slight seam down either side may indicate that it was either cast in this shape, or hammered together leaving a split attachment end. The attachment end is bevelled along most of its length, but has a slight boss at either corner. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end. A tongue-shaped openwork strap end in the Winchester style. The lower half only of the srap end survives. It is symmetrical along the longitudinal axis with pairs of triangular apertures framed by curving tendrils. The outer edges are curvilinear. A complete cast copper alloy strap end of early-medieval date. The strap end is of Thomas' Class A, Type 1 with zoomorphic terminal and Trewhiddle decoration. The strap end is a pointed oval in shape with a zoomorphic terminal at the closed end and a slightly concaved open terminal at the attachment end. A complete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end is a composite piece which is sub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards a closed curved terminal. No forked spacer can be seen within the outer sheets of metal due to organic material compacted within the space. There is a single rivet present at the open end and one in the centre of the curved end both of which can be seen on both sides of the strap end. The object is undecorated. A slightly damaged cast copper alloy medieval strap end, dating from the late 13th to 14th century AD. The strap end is formed from one piece of metal, split at the rectangular attachment end to hole the strap, secured by two copper rivets. The terminal end of the strap end has crenellated outer edges with the third crenellation solid and pierced either side by a circular hole; the tip of the termainl is trilobed. A sheet metal strap end. A single sheet, probably the front plate from a composite strap end with side strips.The plate is rectangular, tapering slightly to an angled terminal. At the opposite end are two separate dome-headed rivets for attachment to the strap or belt. The end here is slightly incurved. The front is decorated with a framing incised band inside which are rows of dashes, curves and occasional chevrons. The back is flat. The plate is creased and bent across its width. A cast copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It comprises two identical plates that are rectangular in form with slightly concave attachment ends, tapering towards the base where there is a small projecting rectangular knop. At the attachment and and at the terminal end there are single central circular copper-alloy rivets with flattened round heads. It measures 26.87mm in length, 14.81mm in width, 3.41mm in thickness and 3.29g in weight. This is a Medieval strap end of 14th century AD date.

A copper-alloy medieval strap end probably dating from the 14th century AD. The strap end is formed from two strips of copper-alloy riveted together by two rivets, one at the attachment end and one at the terminal. Only the rivet near the terminal remains. The terminal has been cut into a trefoil shape. The rest of the strap end is rectangular in plan. One surface has been decorated with a barely discernable abstract motif. Late Roman copper alloy roughly triangular fragment of the lower part of a strap-end, both ends broken. The break at the broad end is across a triangular panel of "chip-carved" foliar ornament, while that at the apex is across two probable openwork apertures. Hawkes and Dunning (1961) Type V A, Appels and Laycock (2007) Dragon Amphora type. Dimensions: length >29mm, width 23.5mm, and thickness 2mm. Dates to the late 4th - early 5th century, but perhaps in use subsequently.

Incomplete copper-alloy tongue-shaped strap-end with punched, openwork and moulded decoration, outside edge missing. The split end at the attachment edge is rectangular and decorated on both faces with eight punched ring-and-dots arranged in two neat rows. Two rivets pass through two of the dots. The main part depicts a grotesque creature, to be viewed with the attachment edge uppermost.
