A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age (c. 2500 BC - c.1150 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and sub-triangular in plan. There is central tang with a barb at either side present. The tang is complete and extends beyond the limit of the barbs, of which only one is complete. The complete barb has a rounded terminal. The flint is white in colour. It weighs 1.0g and measures 16.00mm in length.

An incomplete cast copper alloy small long brooch of early-medieval date. All that remains of the brooch is the curved bow fragment with the head and lower bow having been lost to old and worn breaks. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The brooch is 22.2mm long, 9.1mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 3.6g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of Early-medieval date. Roughly half of the buckle remains and is circular in section with a devolved open-jawed animal head at the terminal. The opposing side of the buckle would also have terminated in this feature giving the appearance of two beasts biting the hinge bar. The frame is decorated with swollen rings at regular intervals. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 31.1mm long, 5.7mm in diameter and weighs 6.8g. Similar examples can be seen in Hawkes, p.58, fig.20.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. All that remains of the buckle is the integral forked spacer, a short portion of the single looped frame and the pin. The pin is looped around the strap bar and the buckle is undecorated. The metal has a dark greenish-brown colour and is worn. The buckle is 31.4mm long, 18.4mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 3.9g. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead, p.37 and are dated to circa 1350 - 1450.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of medieval date. The fragment is part of the leg of a probable cooking vessel. The leg is roughly D-shaped in section with a slightly concave reverse, rounded edges and three raised ridges on the front. Both ends of the fragment are broken and worn. The leg is 35.3mm long, 22.7mm wide, 8.9mm thick and weighs 25.1g. The metal has a dark brownish-green patina and is worn. While it is not possible to allocate this fragment to a specific type a mid 13th to 16th century date is generally accepted for copper alloy cooking vessels.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end is sub-rectangular in plan with sides which taper to a rounded point. Two rivet holes are present oriented along the longitudinal axis of the strap end and can be seen projecting through on the reverse. The back plate of the strap end no longer remains and iron corrosion is present along with possible organic remains of the leather strap. The metal has a dark brownish-black patina and is worn. The strap end is 49.5mm long, 15.3mm wide, 4.9mm thick and weighs 7.5g.

A complete cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The pendant is in the form of an inverted fleur-de-lis with further detail represented on the front face through shallow incised lines. An ovate attachment loop projects from the "stem" of the fleur and the reverse is undecorated. The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn. The pendant is 51.5mm long, 34.9mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 7.1g.

An elongated attachment loop projects from one edge of the object and the pendant appears to be undecorated. The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn, especially around the edges. The pendant is 42mm long, 28.6mm wide, 1.2mm thick and weighs 4.5g.

The pinhead is polyhedral, with ring and dot decoration in each panel. The shaft has a circular cross-section, and terminates in a worn break. The metal has a light whitish-green patina and is worn. The pin is 13.8mm long, 7.1mm wide, 6.8mm thick and weighs 2.4g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. All that remains of the brooch is the semi-circular acanthus moulding flanked by two double banded collars and the D-shaped sectioned lower bow. The bow terminates in a triple banded foot knop and the misshapen catchplate extends from the reverse. The metal has a light brownish-green colour and is worn. The brooch is 41.6mm long, 9.8mm wide, 7.9mm thick and weighs 7.6g. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt, p.326, fig.185 and date to circa AD 75 - 175.

An incomplete cast copper alloy terret ring of early Roman date. The terret is comprised of a rectangular attachment loop topped by a lozenge plate bent across the middle. From the top of the plate the worn remains of the loop extend though the loop proper no longer survives. The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The terret is 35.3mm long, 27.5mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 26.5g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of post-medieval date. The mount has a heart shaped body with a domed profile and concave reverse. The pointed end of the heart extends in to an open work trefoil though the two side lobes are now missing due to old breaks. The front of the mount is otherwise undecorated. From the reverse two broken and work attachment spikes project orientated along the longitudinal axis. The metal has a mid reddish-green patina and is worn. A complete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is a single looped rectangle with expanded outer edges, a wide front edge and a narrowed and offset strap bar. The front edge is decorated with three incised lines, one of which will serve as the pin rest. The pin remains in tact and is looped around the strap bar. The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 15.5mm long, 14.9mm wide, 3.9mm thick and weighs 2.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.27, no.137 and is dated to circa 1350 - 1400.
