An extremely worn and corroded copper-alloy Roman sestertius, probably of Nero (AD 54-68), dating to the period c.AD 64-68 (Reece period 3). ADLOCVT COH, S C, reverse type depicting the Emperor standing left with praetorian prefect on low platform on right, raising right hand in address to three soldiers standing right in single file, at least one of who carries a standard. Mint of Rome or Lyon.
