An incomplete, Roman, struck or hammered, copper alloy, bronze sestertius of Vespasian (69-79AD). Obverse: Laureate head right. Inscription: [](P)AS(IA)N AVG[]. Reverse: Probably Salus standing left feeding a snake at the altar. Inscription: [](M) TRP V C[]. Mint name: Probably Rome. Reece period: 4. Die axis: 12 o'clock. This coin is broken with a quarter missing. It has a dark green/brown patina. It is in very fine condition, slightly worn with a slightly squared off flan and two striking fractures around the remaining edges. There are some spots of pale green corrosion on both side…
