An in complete, copper alloy, Modern Pipe Tamper/Stopper depicting George and Dragon. The object comprises a small rendition of an upright St. George in plate armour, thrusting his spear into a defeated dragon. The object is the decorative element from a pipe tamper or stopper. Dr. Susie White (FLO) comments "it is a George and the Dragon pipe stopper (tamper) as illustrated in Leslie 2012, Plate 388 on page 276. These are brass stoppers and are particularly late and probably 19th century, many being produced around the time of the Great Exhibition in 1851."

Large cast copper-alloy sub-rectangular Georgian shoe buckle dating from the early modern period, that is the 18th century. The buckle is complete except for the spindle and pin which are missing. The buckle frame is decorated with two moulded roundels on each of the short sides and two loops on either side of a roundel at top and bottom. The obverse of the frame is decorated with moulded dot and there remains some tinning in the gaps between the dots.

An incomplete cast copper alloy (bell metal) bell, retaining its copper alloy clapper and chain. The bell is open-ended, with the rim flaring outwards slightly and being decorated with a single line around this rim; the upper portion of the bell tapers and has a roughly flat top, from which protrudes a tall rounded top loop for suspension. There are file marks evident on this loop but there is no other marking or decoration on the bell. This style of bell was used to adorn horse harnesses and cart trappings and dates from the 19th to early 20th century.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy toy cannon of Post-Medieval date. It has a cylindrical barrel that tapers towards an open end that is now incomplete due to old breaks. At the centre is a raised band from which extend integrally cast trunnions to attach the cannon to a carriage. It has a small circular touch hole at the closed end positioned between two circumferential bands, and the closed end itself is dome shaped in form with a projecting central knop. Aluminium aircraft debris. A curved fitting possibly from the undercarriage hydraulic system, and circa 20 fragments of melted aluminium. The only recognisable fragment is itself partly melted. These are thought to be parts of a Lancaster bomber (serial no. PB476) of 12 Squadron which crashed at 29 minutes past midnight on the morning of March 4 1945. A copper-alloy ring of uncertain purpose. This ring might be a finger-ring or alternatively a decorative ferrule from an umbrella, walking stick or riding crop. This artefact is of late 18th to 20th century in date. Weight is 1.69g, diameter is 20.38mm, width of band is 3.52mm and thickness of band is 1.39mm. An incomplete Modern lead-alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920 AD). The stock survives and is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in cross-section and has an open-ended butt. Both sides are similarly decorated with raised scrolling flowers and 'cross-hatching'. Toy guns were popular from the late 17th century and this example probably dates c. 1850-c. 1920. This object is largely coated with a buff patina. There is a break at the larger end. 35.29 x 16.42 x 8.72mm. Weight: 12.06g. Copper alloy with gilding Locket. Pressed metal oval back plate with five surviving bosses projecting from its edge, with an attached pressed plate, decorated with, from its outer order: a billeted edge, a granulated ring, and a central raised oval panel with the stamped image of a swallow. Gilding is retained between the billeted ornaments and around the granulations. A paur of holes of diameter 1.6mm in the back-plate may be intended to facilitate either opening or suspension.Suggested date: Modern, 1850-1900. Early modern cast cuff links dating from the 18th century. Comprised of two octagonal discs joined by an oval loop. Both discs have a concave reverse, with a central projecting loop. The upper surface of each disc is incised with the initial R I, seperated by a tar: R*I. There is no further decoration round the letters and no stamp or hall mark in the inside of the octagonal discs.

Lead Alloy Possible Knife Handle fragment. Cast rectangular plano-convex object, lightly dished on its back. The display face bears closely-spaced cross-hatched lines with a smooth terminal from which a subdivided triangular motif extends into the hatched field. A rivet hole of diameter 2mm appears off-centre here. Broken at the other end and abraded along the edges, and lightly bowed along its length. The hatching presumably afforded grip.
