A complete cast lead weigh of post-medieval date. The weight is circular with a flat top and base and rounded sides. One face is decorated with a central recessed circular cell within which is an indeterminate lozenge shaped design. An incised letter S is present at each quarter. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid brownish-grey colour and is worn. The weight is 31.9mm in diameter, 7.2mm thick and weighs 53g The exact function of this weight is currently unknown.
