Part of a perforated stone mace head or pebble hammer. It was broken in antiquity irregularly through the shaft hole, which is cylindrical and approximately 12 - 15mm in diameter. The shaft hole has been drilled from each side, meeting about halfway across, with the second bore slightly misaligned. The stone is heavily weathered and pitted, as well as cracked. It is almost lozenge shaped in section and a pointed oval in plan. The stone is probably quartzite and is a light yellow grey colour. A rim sherd from a Post Medieval ceramic vessel dating from the late 17th century probably. It had a rim diameter of about 11cm, and has a thin flared rim. The fabric is dark red to purple and the inclusions are not visible. It has a streaked dark brown glaze on both faces. Compare figure 21 on page 14 of Post Medieval Pottery 1650 - 1800 by Jo Draper.

Three sherds of Post Medieval ceramic vessels probably dating from 1550 - 1700 AD. They are all tiny fragments, one base, one rim and one wall sherd. The fabric is very hard and quite fine; dark red to purple or grey in colour. There are infrequent mica and red iron ore inclusions. The sherds are glazed with a lustrous dark brown to black glaze on both faces. The fabric seems similar to Wrenthorpe Black Ware.

A sherd of a Post Medieval ceramic vessel probably dating from 1550 - 1700 AD. It is a rim sherd with a rim diameter of about 13cm. The fabric is very hard and quite fine; creamy buff throughout but fading to tan on the outer face, and with few visible inclusions, just sparse tiny flecks of mica. It is glazed on the inside with a lustrous clear to yellow glaze. The rim is stepped to provide a seating for a lid. The fabric seems similar to Earlier Wrenthorpe Yellow Ware.

A flint burin probably from the Mesolithic period (8300 - 3500 BC). It is formed on a secondary flake which is sub rectangular in plan and has cortex on most of the dorsal face. A long removal from the left side and a small area of retouch round the distal left corner formed the burin point. The flint is tan coloured and is not patinated.
