The coin has been doublestruck, with an impression of both dies on both faces, the reverse especially showing parts of the beard of the bust, and part of the inscription (hENRICVS) visible above ON C[ ].

A fragment of Roman (AD c.320-450) copper alloy bracelet/ armlet with multiple motif decoration, now bent slightly flat. The fragment weighs 2.89g and measures 42.18mm in length. It consists of a terminal section of bracelet, and widens from 5.86x1.30mm at the terminal to 6.77x1.43mm at the (worn) break. A cast copper alloy projecting hollow-backed fitting in the form of a lion's head, of Roman date. The head has an open voided mouth. Below the chin is a rounded breast with four tiny ring and dot stamps. The face of the lion features drilled pits for the eyes and nostrils and engraved hair below the lower lip and chin. The head projects sharply forward from a rounded inegral plate. At the back, at the base of the hollow, is a short ledge which projects backwards.

A complete cast copper alloy splitting wedge of uncertain, but probably Bronze Age, date. The wedge has a rectangular section and the sides show filed seams. The top shows heavy wear from impacts and is curled over. A corner of the blade is missing. The wedge is 53.62mm long and the weight is 60.50g. It seems more likely that weights of later date would have been made of iron.

An incomplete Late Iron Age/ Early Roman (AD 1-50) Knickfibel brooch, a continental type using the Colchester spring gear and with little wings (Hattatt, 1987; Brooches of Antiquity, p.30, ref.754). It is missing the pin and half the coils (about 4), and the curl of the catchplate. The brooch measures 59.38mm in length and weighs 7.92g. The wings span 15.66mm and are plain and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy Late Iron Age/ Early Roman La Tène III (AD 20-100) simple one-piece or Nauheim derivative type brooch. It is missing part of the foot and catchplate (probably about half). The bow is bent inwards. The brooch measures 47.43mm in length and weighs 1.92g. The head consists of four spring coils 10.66mm wide. The chord curves underneath the bow, which is undecorated and slightly D-shaped in cross-section (being flat to the reverse). A complete cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle of medieval date with sheet roller. The rectangular frame has slightly convex sides, with flat surfaces. The outer edge is narrowed at its centre to accommodate a folding sheet roller which survives in situ, slightly abraded. A corroded cast copper-alloy hooked mount of post-medieval date. The mount is sub-trapezoidal in plan with an incurved (V-shaped) upper edge. It tapers towards the inward-turning hook, now misaligned. A broadly oval loop is retained by the hook. The mount is shallowly convex.
