An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle (c. 1660-c. 1720 AD). The pin and chape are missing. The spidle is largely mising. This buckle frame is rectangular in plan with rounded corners and curved in side profile. It is moulded at the front and largely bevelled at the rear. At the front it is stepped around the outside edge. Each outer edge has a small projection, the fronts of which have a pair of ring-and-dot motifs. A complete cast copper alloy mount dating to the Medieval period. The mount is in the form of a kings head wearing a crown. Smaller mounts of similar form can be found on this database at HESH-52C2E2 and NARC-43D1F5, both of which depict an anthropomorphic head with stylised features similar to this mount. Above the head is a lozenge shaped plate representing a crown, or more likley a mitre representing Thomas Beckett. Cast decoration on the mitre is worn. Two prongs on the reverse are short.

An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy tap handle terminal (c. 1600-c. 1800 AD). This find represents about half of the terminal and when complete would have resembled a 'moustache'. It would have been bifurcate and separated by a central depression. It is bevelled to form a lozenge shape in cross-section. The end is flat with a lip on the outer edge. A complete but broken post-Medieval dress-fastener (1500-1700 AD). This flat hook-piece is one part of a two-piece fastener. The other part would have had a loop to accommodate a hook. It is sub-oval in plan and within the frame a fleur-de-lis motif forms openwork decoration. At one end a forward projecting hook is rectangular with a semi-circular terminal end. At the rear it is bevelled either side of a central vertical rib which has a suspension loop at the top. The perforation is filled with copper-alloy corrosion products. At the front, the inner and outer edges are bevelled. There is an incomplete, free running looped pin or rivet which is sub-oval in cross-section. The main element has a green patina and the rear face is coarser than the front. The pin or rivet has no patina and is mainly covered with copper-alloy corrosion products. 14.92 x 14.64 x 1.57mm.
