A gold Roman solidus of Valentinian III (AD 425-455), dating to AD 440-450 (Reece Period 22). VICTORI-A AVGGG reverse type depicting Emperor standing facing holding long cross and Victory on globe; right foot on human-headed coiled serpent. Mint of Rome. As RIC X, p. 366, no. 2014. The coin is slightly bent and has a crack on the edge.

A copper alloy Roman coin, possibly from late House of Constantine or the House of Valentinian, C. AD 337-378. The obverse has a bust right and the reverse has Victory going left, possibly VICTORIA AVGG The coin is in very poor condition with considerable erosion damage removing around 50% of the rim. It has a brown/green patina.
