Medieval silver gros Tournois of Louis IX of France ( probably 1266-70). The coin is incomplete but in good condition.
As it is incomplete, its possible it is a damaged fragment of a brooch or similar as many other examples recorded here have been. See ESS-CFE5E6, DUR-977A16 and NMS-A4D7A5
