An incomplete silver Late Medieval Spanish half real of Ferdinand II and Isabella, dating to AD 1469-1504. Reverse type depicting arrows tied with a ribbon and yoke of Isabella; aqueduct of Segovia and letter D as mintmark in the field. Obverse depicting Ferdinand II's arms - quartered arms of a Castille (a castle) and Leon (a lion), quartered with Aragon's arms (stripes of gold & red) and Sicily (quartered on the diagonal arms of Aragon with the Sicilian black eagle). An incomplete Post Medieval silver 2 reales of Ferdinand II of Aragon, ( r. AD. 1479 -1516) and of Sicilly (r. 1468-1516) (as king Ferdinand V of Castile and León). This appears to be an argonese issue Obverse, A crowned shield displaying a cross and saltire made up of pellets that are also positioned at intervals around the edge of the shield.
