Roman copper alloy sestertius, possibly of Commodus (AD 175-192), Reece period 8, very corroded and pitted but there is a head facing right with tight curls, distinctive eye and long beard on the obverse, and a standing central figure with a vertical spear to the left on the reverse, which may be Mars standing right holding a vertical spear in his right hand, as in the reference below. Cf. BMC IV, p.688, pl.90, fig.13, no.1736 which is Commodus under Marcus Aurelius (AD 175-180) Found on the same day with CORN-DA90CC.

Only half of the coin survives due to old breaks. Measurements: 25.21mm in diameter, 2.93mm thick and 5.22g in weight.
