A cast copper-alloy mount or stud of uncertain date, possibly Roman or medieval. The mount is square in plan and pyramidal in form with four sloping edges delineated by four lines radiating from the rounded knop at the apex. It has a concave reverse with a central rivet that is T-shaped with concave sides and a straight outside edge. Reddish brown patina with areas of bright green. An incomplete Medieval hooked mount dating c. AD 1230-1260. The plate is broadly rectangular and D-shape in cross-section, with a round shouldered terminal at one end and a broken projecting bar at the other end. The front face of the plate is decorated with two sets of double transverse collars at each end. At the terminal end is a circular perforation through the plate.
