Tertiary hard hammer struck flake, of mottled pale and mid-grey flint, an area of brown to the distal end, with spotty iron stains to the dorsal face on the high points of the flake scars, faint rusty iron scrapes to the ventral face, the thin edges appear to be irregularly retouched or recently damaged. Neolithic to Bronze Age, 4,000 to 2,350 BC.

It is curved in profile, which may be a combination of its original shape to fit the curvature of a finger, and post-depositional distortion. A Medieval copper-alloy strap end (c.AD 1200-1400). The strap end is sub-rectangular in shape with an angled end shape which tapers to a rounded and pointed end. A rivet is still in situ at the top of the strap end connecting the two sides together and some fabric/cloth remains in between the two sides of the sheet of metal which is a light brown colour with evidence of textile fibres. It has a light green smooth patina. A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2300 BC. The object is formed from a tertiary flake which is sub-ovate in plan and D-shaped in section. The ventral surface is flat and smooth. Short, stepped, semi-abrupt retouch is present along the curved edge and into each side of the dorsal surface. The flint is a light white colour with grey inclusions. The implement is 28.4mm long, 19.6mm wide, 10.8mm thick and weighs 5.7g.
