Incomplete Roman copper alloy Headstud brooch consisting of the wings, upper bow and spring mechanism only. The incomplete brooch is 19.8mm long and weighs 7.80g. The wings, which are rectangular in section and angular, are 23mm wide. Part of the cord and foward facing hook survive on the top of the wings. To the reverse, an eleven-coiled spring survives, the pin is missing. The wings are decorated to the front with two pairs of vertical lines on either side of the bow. The terminal and a short length of the arm of a cast copper alloy penannular brooch of early-medieval date. Less than half of the brooch survives and the pin is missing. The surviving fragment measures 17.1mm in length and weighs 4.6g. The polyhedral terminal measures 10.3mm by 9.1mm by 6.7mm. It has thirteen sides: five lozenges interpersed with smaller triangles. There is no trace of any decoration. The arm's cross-section is oval. The polyhedral terminal fits into Fowler's Type G; however, this example does not have a ribbed hoop. Incomplete Roman copper alloy T-shape brooch possibly of the Sawfish type, missing its lower bow and catchplate, spring, cord and pin. Its incomplete length is 22.8mm and it weighs 5.30g. Probably Roman (or possibly Medieval) lead pot mend with a fragment of grey earthenware vessel held within. The 'inside' surface of the pot mend is smooth and measures 30.5x28.6x3.6mm. The outside measures 14.1x20.4x3.8mm. The greyware is c.3mm in thickness. It has tiny quartz inclusions, some of which have been eroded out. The pot mend weighs 32.59g.

A cast copper-alloy annular brooch of the Anglo-Saxon period. The brooch is flat and rectangular in section, with the width of the ring measuring 8.78mm. There is a pin restriction to take a pin, now lost. However, the restriction retains some iron corrosion. The crossbar measures 2.85mm wide and 3mm in length. It is inset from the outer edge by approximately 3mm and inset from the inner edge ny 1.5mm. Corrosion in the area of the pin restriction makes these measurements tentative, however.
