A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle, dating to c.AD 1350 to 1650. The frame consists of two oval loops divided by a central bar. The loops are D-shaped in plan and D-Shaped in cross section.  The feame is slighlty angled on the outside edges. The strap bar is D-shaped in cross section and only expands close to the frame. The pin is made of a copper alloy strip that narrows to a rounded point at one end, and wraps around the axis bar over 270 degrees at the opposite end. A copper-alloy sub-triangular buckle frame of Medieval date, circa AD 1250 - 1400. The buckle is sub-triangular in plan and has a single D-shaped loop. It has a narrow and off-set axis bar. There is a small portion of the frame that is constricted, with a circular section, where the pin would have looped around the frame. There is no pin rest. The pin has not survived.

An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy buckle with integral plate. It is broadly triangular in form with hollow/concave back face.The attachment end is semi-circular with a central circular rivet hole and each side of the plate has identical moulded decoration, the frame is now incomplete and there is a pin hole for the missing pin in the centre of the plate. The front face of the object has the remains of an added white metal coating and is missing its rivets due to old breaks. An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval pin form a disc on pin buckle dating form AD 1300 - 1500. The element is made from a flat circular disc with a tapering pint projecting at one end, and an incomplete loop projecting at the other. the disc is decorated with a central circular recess (cell) that is now empty of any contents. Rectangular frame with a slightly recessed and enlarged outside edge that has moulded transverse lines/grooves across it.
