Mesolith tranchet adze made from brown flint, 83.3mm in length and 49.7mm wide. The adze has been made from a single large flake with a flat side and a convex side demonstrating further working and removal of characteristic final sharpening flake (Butler, 2005: 100). The edges and tip are damaged. Likely manufactured from a flint nodule obtained from local clay-with-flints outcrops on the chalk Downs.
