A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman nail -cleaner dating to the first or second centuries AD. The fragment comprises a small portion of the leaf shaped blade terminating in two points. There is decorative groove running parallel with the edges of the blade, on both its upper and lower surface. cf. Crummy (1983) p. 58, no. 1872.

A post medieval silver thimble or sewing ring. The thimble is made from a rolled sheet. Near the base edge of the thimble on the outer surface are stamped initials; 'MP', on a banner held up by a cherub on either side. Above the initials is a makers mark: '.JC.' within an oval with floral projections. Below the banner is a plain raised border. The rest of the thimble is covered in rows of circular indentations. A complete knapped flint 'Thames pick' trancet axe core tool of Mesolithic date. All the cortex has been removed, however part of the butt end may be unknapped. The opposite end narrows to a shallow point. The upper surface has a high central longitudinal ridge, bevelled to each side. An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy purse bar. The central block of the object survives, as does one of the globular terminals. The block is sub-rectangular with a hole running transversely through the centre. Running through the central hole is a copper-alloy suspension loop. Complete copper alloy penannular brooch frame with missing pin of Fowler Type C. The frame is constructed of a single length of wire which is sub-square in section with rounded edges. The penannular frame has terminals formed by both ends of the frame coiled back onto the frame. The terminals both consist of a single coil. Most of these brooches are dated 1st - 2nd century, although a few are later and quite a number appear as reused in Anglo-Saxon (Early Medieval) contexts.

One element of a two part silver cuff-link formed of a circular disc which has a downturned rim. The central stamped design of the discs is in the form of a left facing female bust in profile. The word ANNA in raised lettering appears in the space beside the face, while there are some other letters behind her head. These are indecipherable except for the final D. A broken cast copper-alloy tinned pin head from an Iron Age swan's neck pin. The head is solid and circular with a central perforation (Int. Dia.: 3.8mm). The surfaces are slightly concave and thin towards the hole. Both sides are decorated with a zone just inside the circumference defined by a pair of circular incisions. Between them the zone is decorated with fine transverse nicks to give a ropework effect. This decoration is repeated for one half of the rim, starting to one side of the integral shaft. Cast copper alloy sickle length 116mm, width 26mm. Curved ridge runs down the spine of the blade on the dorsal edge of the sickle, the blade runs three quarter of the length of the object from the tip (which is missing). There is a large semicircular notch (16mm deep, 24mm long) that is 25mm from the rear of the artefact. There is a transverse ridge running across the rear edge of the sickle. Cast copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 5.b4, flat wing ends type, Western Group). Length 47mm, width 25mm, thickness 15mm, weight 14.09g. Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings would have held the spring support bar. There is a loop at the top of the head which would have held the external cord. A crest runs from the loop, down the length of the brooch. The lower part of the bow missing resulting in the loss of the catch plate. Date 70-150AD
