Flint flake, semi circular in plan and splinter shaped in profile. The dorsal side has a slight convex surface with medial ridging. The distal end has a low angle retouch. The proximal end is snapped and the right margin is serrated. The ventral side has a flat surface and the distal end is retouched. The lower left margin is either chipped or notched. The flint is semi translucent pale cream grey in colouring with a tertiary cortex. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 141, Fig. 5.127, No. 6 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
