A Post Medieval cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. Powell Type 2. The token is decorated on the one side with the initials W F over the letter U with a pellet under W F. The reverse is blank. The token measures 17.04mm in diameter, 1.50mm thick and weighs 2.9 grams. Lead tokens with initials are generally thought to date to the Post Medieval period, c. 1550-1800 AD.

Cast lead alloy figurine dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is a flat figure decorated only on one side. It can therefore be classified as Forsyth and Egan, Type 3. The figure appears to be male however is very worn. The facial features have worn away and the clothing consists of some moulded horizontal and vertical ridges. One arm projects outwards to the left. The object is incomplete and has a mid-white patina. Similar examples can be seen on p170-172, Forsyth and Egan, (2005).

A possible Roman lead curse tablet (AD 43-AD 410). This rolled strip has been deliberately folded three times. On each side there are deliberate linear grooves. The object has a yellowish patina. An incomplete cast lead alloy pipe tamper in the form of a hand. The hand tapers to a wrist with a moulded transverse cuff before it terminates with a break. The fingers of the hand are curled over grasping a stick or scroll. Each end of the scroll terminates with a break. The palm of the hand shows signs of modern damage. It has a light white patina. Similar examples are illustrated on page 63 of Detector Finds by Bailey (1992). Similar examples which can be found on the database are SWYOR-654428 and SWYOR-6CB5E6. A Late Post Medieval to Modern date is suggested.

One half of a pair of pewter cufflinks dating to the Post-Medieval period. The disc is circular in plan and flat. On the reverse of the object is a soldered rectangular loop for attachment. The object is decorated with two hearts (not conjoined), with a single two-arched crown above. The edges of the disc have been damaged. A similar example which can be found on the database is IOW-FF3431. The object can be dated from 1670-1700AD.

An incomplete lead alloy Medieval seal matrix. It is circular in plan, with an integral non-pierced lug on the reverse. The reverse is plain, but the front has a six pointed star ('Star of David') within a circle. The inscription along the edge is mostly missing, but the extant legend reads '+ S N[---] E'. The seal matrix has been broken in half, either cut or bent off. The old break folds inwards towards the front of the seal, creating a small lip. Cast lead uniface disc dating to the Post-Medieval period (post 1603). The upper face bears the symbols of the lion and the unicorn facing each other. Behind the lion's back are two raised pellets. The rear of the object is undecorated. There is some damage on the lion, possibly due to the plough. The lion and the unicorn are heraldic supporters appearing on the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The function of the object is uncertain however it may have been used as a weight or a decorative mount. It has a light brown patina.

A lead alloy Post Medieval cloth seal. It is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section. The front contains a large 'A' interconnected with the lower portion of a 'C' or possibly an ovoid 'O'; the impression is weak and difficult to read. The reverse contains an old break at the top; there is also a subtriangular design on the back, but is faint. It measures 15.32 mm DIA x 3.42 mm TH and weighs 2.73 g.

A complete but bent and cracked Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular uni-face token. The token has a raised design of the initials HI with an underscore on one side. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1500-1850 AD.

Incomplete cast and impressed Post Medieval lead-alloy bag seal probably dating to the 17th to 18th century, c.1600-1800. The seal consists of two circular discs with one riveted through the centre of the other and then impressed with lettering over the flattened rivet end to form the seal. The lettering appears to show the initials AP with IIII (or possibly HH or NN) below.
