An incomplete Middle Iron Age copper alloy brooch of La Tène I and of Hull & Hawkes (1987: 95-106) type 1Ba, dating to the 4th or 3rd century BC.
The one-piece brooch is missing both its spring and its pin. The arched bow is D-shaped in section, being flat on the back and convex on the front. It has a maximum width of 5.87mm and thickness of 4.26mm. It is decorated down its length with a column of punched dots framed by a vertical line on either side. An incomplete copper alloy finger ring of probable Roman date, with an oval setting (7mm long) in the bezel for a now missing gem or intaglio. The hoop had an internal diameter of c.17.5mm with a plano-convex cross section. The bezel is in the line of the hoop, with tapering shoulders which merge seamlessly with the hoop and are undecorated.
The form is broadly compatible with Guiraud Type 2a and most likely dates to the 1st - early 3rd century AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and decorated with fine ridges. Under them is a flange pierced with two holes at the centre of the head; one wing, the spring and the pin are all missing. The bow is circular in cross section and undecorated and tapers to a narrow foot with a catchplate which is triangular and partially missing.

A tinned copper alloy Roman brooch of Hod Hill type (Cf. Mackreth (2011), Chapter 6, Part 2 Hod Hill 4, Plate 93-94), missing the pin. The brooch has an incomplete head made from rolled cylindrical wings which once held a spindle for a hinged pin; one wing of the head and the pin are missing. A flint arrowhead. A barbed and tanged type made on a tertiary flake of pale grey-brown flint. It has a glossy patina. A elongated triangular shape with a long central tang and short barbs. The notches forming the barbs are curved and relatively shallow. One face has invasive, scalar pressure flaking along both edges. The other face has some invasive pressure flaking but less regularly applied around a pre-exisiting deeper flake scar. There is slight damage to the tip.
