A handmade lead alloy aeroplane. It has a cigar shaped fuselage with a flat conical nose. The wings and the smaller tailplane are both triangular, finishing in a sharp point. Approximate halfway down the fuselage the body flattens to the tail, and on the tail end of the fuselage is an flattish oval structure. From the underside it can be seen that the fuseage is hollow and has been formed around something, the whole is cut from one sheet of lead alloy. It is red in colour and may have been painted. An iron object. The pot is round and the sides curve inwards slightly at the top, although there is no lip on it. It has a moulded in square base, and this square is seen inside the bottom of the pot. Thanks are extended to Bill, Volunteer at Shropshire and Herefordshire, for identifying this as a hub cap from a vintage tractor, the square shape was for tightening and untighening it. A cast copper alloy coin weight, square in plan and flat in profile with chamfered edges, dating from AD 1600 - 1850. The weight has five worn annulets on each face, one in each corner, and one in the centre, along with another unclear stamped mark, probably a counter mark of some kind. The weight is 15.0mm square and 4.1mm thick.  It weighs 6.0g. It is a weight for five pennyweights. Biggs (1995, Bullion Weights) dates these weights to about 1600 - 1850 on pages 19-20. It was customary for a set of weights to include 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 pennyweights.

A flint probable retouched flake which is incomplete, only the distal end surviving. It is of unknown date, probably Mesolithic to Neolithic, 10,000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on totally patinated white flint. The proximal end is snapped and the distal end is a hinged termination. The dorsal face has a double arris. The right side has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch, but it is not particularly tidy and could also be edge damage. The flake is 19.8mm long, 16.6mm wide and 3.2mm thick. 1.4g.

An almost complete copper alloy unlooped palstave axehead (Group II) of middle Bronze Age date (1500-1300 BC). The blade of the palstave has convex expanding sides, and a convex cutting edge. The cutting edge is blunt and abraded and is slightly asymmetrical. In profile the blade is sub-triangular with the thickest section being at the stop ridge. Below the stop ridge descends a vertical rib that extends to the top of the edge bevel. An incomplete post-medieval silver hammered sixpence of King James I (AD 1603-1625). The date above the shield on the reverse dates the coin to AD 1605. The coin has been heavily clipped to the inner flan and there is no legend or mint mark remaining. Obverse: Crowned bust of the king facing right. Roman numeral VI behind the bust. Reverse: Squared shield bearing the royal coat of arms. The minting date of 1605 is above the shield. An example of North, II, 1991, p. 146, nos. 2102 or 2103. It measures XXmm in diameter, XXmm in thickness, and weighs XXg.

An incomplete copper alloy buckle, probably post medieval dating. The buckle frame is broadly rectangular in plan, with rounded edges. It is gently concave, and appears to have had a separate spindle, now missing. The front side exhibits moulded, flowery decoration. The back side is plain. The bickle has a brown surface patina. Similar buckles are described in Whitehead (2003, p 96 onwards) as two-piece shoe or knee buckles, from the 17th and 18th centuries.
