A silver gilt annular brooch fragment that is broken into three pieces. This consists of a trapezoid cross-section frame and sequentially spaced collet and hemispherical knops. Each of the collets are held by two forking branches that have trefoil, foliate terminals. There is a third trefoil mount at the junction of each fork. The hemispherical knops are decorated by closely packed pellets. Only two collets and two knops remain, this representing about 50% of the original brooch.

Silver annular brooch with a circular cross-sectioned frame. There are four knops evenly spaced around the frame, each is decorated with tiny closely spaced stamped annulets, the frame is broken at one of the knops but is otherwise complete. An incomplete cast copper alloy small long brooch of early-medieval date. All that remains of the brooch is the curved bow fragment with the head and lower bow having been lost to old and worn breaks. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The brooch is 22.2mm long, 9.1mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 3.6g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Aesica brooch of Roman date. The brooch consists of semi-circular wings which are concave on the reverse to accommodate the pin mechanism which no longer remains. The bow extends from the centre of the front of the wings and is trapezoidal in plan with a raised profile to curve outwards. The bow terminates in a worn break. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The brooch is 20.5mm long, 19.8mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 4.7g. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt p.310, fig.169 and are dated to the 1st century AD.

An Early Medieval copper alloy gilded openwork brooch. Motif: sinuous zoomorphic interlace in the Urnes style. The head, the body and the tail are recognizable. Remains of gilding on the outter surface. The mount has a semi-circular section. On the reverse, a part of the catchplate and pin lug have been preserved. The pin is missing.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. All that remains of the brooch is the semi-circular acanthus moulding flanked by two double banded collars and the D-shaped sectioned lower bow. The bow terminates in a triple banded foot knop and the misshapen catchplate extends from the reverse. The metal has a light brownish-green colour and is worn. The brooch is 41.6mm long, 9.8mm wide, 7.9mm thick and weighs 7.6g. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt, p.326, fig.185 and date to circa AD 75 - 175.

Copper alloy brooch fragment. Small hinged Headstud Brooch, albeit the stud is a barely discernible dimple on the upper bow. Tubular wings enclose an axis bar for a hinged pin of which a small stub remains; the stub of a small top loop remains on one side only.The bow is lightly constricted towards the middle, and the catch-plate and foot are lost. An incomplete copper alloy Roman (150-300 AD) enamelled oval plate brooch, missing its pin. It measures 27.10x22.08 and weighs 5.38 grams. The central setting is missing. Around this central area is a copper alloy band. A similar band flanks the outside edge, though is worn and broken away in places. The area between the two bands is a single cell filled with blue. An incomplete Roman (AD 150-250) tinned copper-alloy knee brooch. Only a fragment of the bow survives. It measures 26.22mm in length, 11.75mm wide and weighs 5.7 grams. The bow extends in an accentuated curve. It is rectangular in section and measures 26.22x11.76x8.77mm. The top of the survivng section is decorated by two vertical vertical ridges with a horizontal ridge below.
