Obverse has three crowns and three lis arranged around a central rose, all within an inner circle, inscription reads GLICK:KVMPT:VON:GO: (an abbreviated inscription translating as 'Good fortune comes from God'); initial mark is dot in annulet. Reverse has an Imperial Orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a double stranded trefoil, six annulets in the field, all within an inner circle; inscription reads HANS:SCHVLTES:NOR:, initial mark is a radiate sun.

A Medieval, copper alloy, English Jetton of Edward II (1307 - 1327). It is a Berry type 15 (Castle) obverse with Reverse 5 (cross moline). See Berry's Medieval English Jettons, page 48. It is 18.6mm in diameter and 0.9mm thick. It weighs 1.16gm. The central piercing that is normally found on this type of jetton only shows on the obverse of this example and has not penetrated all the way through.

Copper alloy jetton now smooth with almost all detail lost. A few letters of the inscription can be recognised 'CIA PL' (ave maria gra CIA PL ena) suggesting this represents the remains of a French late Medieval jetton. Through the jetton is a hole, 1.8 x 1.2mm and one face bears traces of iron staining.
