A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700). The mount is an elongated sub-triangular shape in plan. It is convex at the front and flat at the rear except for two spikes. It is pointed at one end and has an elongated knop at the opposite end. At the rear are two integral tapering spikes, one at each end, which are circular in cross-section. This mount is drab green. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount resembling an acorn (c. 1600-c. 1700). Most of each spike is missing. The mount is convex at the front and concave at the rear. The cupola is cross-hatched at the front and the nut has inscribed curving lines. At the rear are the stubs of two spikes, one at each end. These are circular in cross-section.
