An incomplete unidentified copper-alloy object of Unknown date and uncertain function (c. AD 43-1850). The object is mainly flat on both faces and just over half its length it is semi-circular in plan. The remaining part, an extension along the straight edge, is roughly square in cross-section and measures c. 4.0mm x c. 4.0mm. This extension terminates with a right angled bend where there is a break. The object is corroded and bright green. Length: 42.0mm; width: 14.6mm; thickness: 3.7mm; thickness including bend: 6.4mm. Weight: 7.17g.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy unidentified object (c. 1500-c. 1800). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section, flat at the front and rear. The top part is rectangular and rounded in side view. Below this part a similar indentation on both edges is filled with a small deposit of iron. The lower portion, with two steps at each edge, narrows in width towards a worn break. Height: 16.6mm; width: 11.8mm; thickness: 6.8mm. Weight: 5.78g. It is possible that the object is a spacer and that the indentations were pierced to accommodate wire.

An incomplete copper-alloy object of uncertain function and of possible post-Medieval date (c. 1500-c. 1800). This object tapers in width and thickness from a break across a hole to a blunt point. From the pointed end to about halfway along its length the upper face is ‘D’-shaped in cross-section. The remaining part of the upper face is bevelled along the edges. Close to the hole the bevels are ‘notched’ at either side. The object is drab brown and the breaks are old. Length: 58.5mm; width: 8.3mm; thickness: 3.2mm. Weight: 4.77g.

A post-Medieval copper-alloy unidentified object which has been adapted from a Fourth Issue penny of George III (1760-1820), minted at the Soho mint, Birmingham and dated 1806 on coin. Spink: 3780. Obverse: GEO[RG]IVS III D G RE[X] 1806; Bust, laureate draped right. Reverse: [BRITANNIA]; [Britannia seated left]. Diameter: 34.0mm. Weight: 15.88g. The coin has been adapted for another use. There is an off-centre circular hole with a diameter of 9.9mm. There are two further circular holes which are almost diametrically opposed. These have a diameter of about 2.8mm.
