A fragment of a Roman ceramic relief-patterned tile, possibly a box-flue (AD 43-410).
This fragment includes a finished flat edge. On one face there are worn comb marks and the other face is plain.
This object is tempered with numerous various sized pieces of stone and grog. The inner core is grey and the breaks are water-worn.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy rotary key (c. 1150-c. 1400).
The openwork bow is circular and flat on both faces. It has an outer diameter of 15.5mm with the hole measuring 6.9mm in diameter. There is no collar between the bow and shank. The shank is oval in cross-section and solid for most of its length but is hollow for a short distance at the bit end. The shank is parallel in width and thickness. The simple bit has three small clefts.
This key is now drab green and has been cleaned.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single-loop 'D'-shaped buckle frame (c. 1250 - c. 1500).
The pin is missing.
The upper face is slightly convex and the rear face is flat. The bar is narrowed and recessed.
This buckle frame is corroded and appears to be plain.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy "toy" cannon of probable eighteenth to nineteenth century date (c. 1750-c. 1850).
The toy is described as if it were a functioning cannon.
The cascable (or cascabel) and button has a length of about 10.0mm. The vent has a diameter of 1.8mm. This vent is sometimes referred to as a 'touch-hole'. The trunnions project form a substantial reinforce ring and are set about mid-way down the side of the barrel. A complete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy cup weight (c. 1485-c. 1547).
This cup weight, part of a set, is circular in plan with straight sides that flare out from the base towards the plain rim. The base is convex and the floor of the cup is concave. At the centre of the floor there is a central circular pit which is probably related to lathe-work. Adjacent to the pit are two stamped motifs: a rose and a lower case 'h'. The letter 'h' may indicate that the weight was issued during the reign of Henry VII (1485-1509) or Henry VIII (1509-1547).

This coin weight is for an angel and the front depicts St Michael spearing a dragon. The rear face is plain.
Length: 15.4mm; width: 14.8mm; thickness: 2.6mm. Weight: 3.66g. (56.4 grains).
The coin-weight is British and dates from between the 15th - 16th centuries, having first been issued in 1464 (Withers 1995: 21).

A complete but slightly damaged post-Medieval lead alloy powder measure cap used for measuring a charge of gunpowder (c. 1600-c. 1700). Courtney 1988: 2, fig. 3.
The open end was probably oval in plan prior to being squashed slightly and the closed end is oval in plan.
It is sub-rectangular in side view and the rim is plain. It has two loops, one at each side at the closed end. There is no indication of casting seams. The closed end is flat and plain.
This measure is grey and the walls are dented.
