An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy eye-section for a belt or strap clasp (c. 1800-c. 1850). The object is composed of three integral parts, a domed plate with a circular attachment loop at one end and a rectangular attachment loop at the other end. Most of this rectangular attachment loop is missing due to breaks and only stubs survive. The circular loop is orientated 90° to the plane of the plate. A complete Medieval copper-alloy strap-slide frame with internal projections (c. 1150-c. 1400). The frame is slender and trapezoidal in plan. About a third of the way towards the outer edge of the frame from its base is an internal projection at either side. There is no rivet hole. The fitting has a mid-green patina. Length: 14.0mm; width: 21.0mm; thickness: 1.6mm. Weight: 1.44g. For a discussion on these types of strap-slides, see Egan and Pritchard 1991, p. 231-233; cf. fig. 149, ref: 1257.

A complete post-Medieval to Modern copper alloy 'S'-shaped zoomorphic 'snake belt' fastener or belt hook, possibly a sword-belt fitting (c. 1550 -c.1950). The fastener has two snake or swan head terminals with necks that curve to form hooks. Each head has a finely moulded. The necks narrow below the heads before expanding again towards the centre of the body of the animal. At the centre is a raised band flanked by a ring of six leaves on each side. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy hooked strap fitting for a sword-belt (c. 1600-c. 1700). The main body of the fitting is sub-circular in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. The front of the main body has three vertical facets. At one end there is a horizontal ridge where there is a break. Here, there would have been a rounded knop, pierced for a separate rivet.
