An incomplete Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave (1500 BC - 1150 BC). This implement is sub-triangular in plan and side view. The butt, flange, septum, loop (if one existed) and part of the blade are missing and there are two old breaks. The upper break, close to where a stop-ridge may have existed, is sub-rectangular in cross-section and measures 23.3mm in width and 13.6mm in thickness. The edges of the blade are slightly convex.
