The toy is described as if it were a functioning cannon. The cascable (or cascabel) and the cascabel button has a length of about 18.0mm. The base ring diameter is 21.0mm. Between the base ring and the first astragal, the vent field has a length of c. 5.7mm and the circular vent itself has a diameter of 1.8mm. This vent is sometimes referred to as a 'touch-hole'. The incomplete trunnions (length now: 21.7mm) divide the first reinforce from the chase. The trunnions are set about mid-way down the side of the barrel. They are circular in cross-section and have a diameter of c. 2.9mm. …

A complete pos-Medieval copper-alloy dress-hook (c. 1500-c. 1650). Read Class E, Type 8. The body is in the form of a five-petalled rose, with a hole at the centre. There is also a hole beneath, between the rose and the transverse ridge. A trapezoidal attachment loop is bevelled internally at the front. An incomplete lead alloy object of Unknown date (AD 43-1800). A flat rectangular 'tablet' or strip. The upper face of the object bears stamped pseudo ?Roman numerals. A circular hole on the upper face has a diameter of 2.8mm and it penetrates through to the rear face where it is smaller and its edge is partially burred. The object appears to have been chopped at each end. This object is greyish buff. Length: 40.0mm; width: 25.9mm; thickness: 2.0mm. Weight: 19.04g. The object was found close to the find-spot of IOW-5A4709.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant (c. 1200-c. 1400). This square pendant has a stem of a suspension loop at the centre of the top but the suspension loop is missing. The pendant has a raised border which contains a raised cross fleury motif with a projection at the centre of the cross. The end of this projection can be seen on the rear face.
