An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman zoomorphic (bird) brooch (AD 100-200). The bird, resembling a dove or a pigeon, is three dimensional and in a resting position with its wings folded. It has a rounded head, a small pointed beak and the eyes are indistinct. Two encircling grooves, one immediately behind the head and another around the shoulders, form a collar. Around the lower edge of the wings are two parallel grooves within which are small oblique indentations which have probably been punched. The tail is fan-shaped and bevelled on its upper face. A fragment of gold sheet, the remains of a personal ornament of Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (c. 2500 BC-c. 2200 BC). The object is a type known as a basket-shaped ornament. Treasure case no. 2009 T741. The plaque would have originally been U-shaped in cross-section with a tang soldered mid-way along its longitudinal length for attachment. An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of post-Medieval date (c. 1660-c. 1720). The buckle is sub-oval in plan and has drilled holes at the centre on either side to accommodate an iron spindle. The spindle is missing. However, remains of it can be seen within the drilled holes. At the front, moulded decoration is in the form of eighteen contiguous knoblets. On the rear face the inner edges are bevelled and the outer part is largely flat. The surfaces have a shiny green metallic appearance which may be the result of a high tin content. Alternatively, the surfaces may have been tinned.

A complete cast copper alloy unclassified stirrup strap mount of Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date (c. 1000-c. 1100). The mount is roughly pentagonal-shaped in plan and has a rearward projecting flange at the base. At the apex there is a circular fixing hole and there are two other fixing holes through the flange which both contain the remains of iron rivets. Within the angle of the flange there are the vestigial remains of an iron strap. Open work consists of seven circular or sub-circular holes in a roughly symmetrical arrangement. An incomplete and misshapen sheet copper alloy scabbard chape of Medieval date (1300-1500). The chape has been made from a flat piece of copper alloy and rolled to form a cone with a plain rounded terminal. It has a vertical soldered seam that has largely sprung apart. Close to the top there are three parallel circumferential incised decorative lines. A patina has not survived and the outer surface of the metal is reddish brown. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman headstud brooch (AD 75-200). Part of the chain loop, the majority of the pin and most of the catch-plate are missing due to old breaks. An incomplete silver-gilt dress-hook of post-Medieval date (1500-1600). Treasure case no. 2009 T727. The cast trefoil back-plate has a knop between each foil and a notched outline. At the front each foil is slightly recessed to accommodate a cast front-plate. The front-plate had three arms terminating with knops in a trefoil arrangement. However, one arm is missing.
