A cast copper alloy mount in the form of a female figure of probable late Medieval date (c. 1400-c. 1500). The standing figure is cloaked and appears to be female. She is holding what may be a palm branch in her left hand and apparently an open book in her right. She may be St Barbara. However, there is no indication of a tower that is associated with St Barbara. The figure has an oval base with the remains of a central tang, circular in cross-section. A Medieval silver coin brooch. Treasure case no. 2009 T475. This brooch is made from a silver penny of William I, type VII, Profile/Cross and trefoils, issued by the moneyer Ælfwig of London, towards the end of William's reign. The coin has been transformed into a brooch by riveting a pin-fitting to the coin with two large silver rivets. The rivets remain, but the fitting itself has largely disappeared, although traces of corrosion products indicate that this had a single base plate spanning both rivets. An incomplete copper-alloy cloisonné-enamelled brooch of probable 10th or 11th century AD date (H.Geake; 2001; pp. 24). The object is a flat disc and the decorative enamel is symmetrical in plan. The design is in the form of a cross pommée. Each rounded terminal is recessed and filled with green enamel. An incomplete copper alloy buckle plate (c. 1250-c. 1450). In plan, the plate is sub-square and is folded widthways. The front leaf is larger than the rear leaf. The sides and the attachment end are slightly concave. It is recessed to accommodate a buckle and has a sub-rectangular pin-slot. There are three round-headed rivets. An incomplete cast copper alloy and enamelled Disc brooch of Roman date (80-250). The pin and spring mechanism is missing and the edges of the brooch are ragged and abraded in places. An almost complete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3500 BC – 2100 BC). Length: 102.9mm; width: 40.8mm and 17.0mm thick. Weight: 103.32g. This slender axehead is sub-triangular in plan and throughout its length it is sub-oval in cross-section. In plan, the butt is pointed but rounded. From the butt the sides flare outwards and downwards to the cutting edge. The cutting edge is evenly curved. There is no evidence that the cutting edge has been re-sharpened.
