Early Bronze Age copper alloy developed flat axe, possibly Aylesford or Bandon type (Schmidt and Burgess, 1981, 65-7) probably dating to between c2300 to c1700 BC. The axe has a broad head, tapering to a narrow butt. There is no evidence of flanges or ridges along the sides of either face but it is heavily corroded. This implement is sub-rectangular in plan with an expanded crescent shaped blade. The butt, in plan, is complete with a rounded terminal. In cross section the body of the axe has lentoid profile. Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flint debitage retouched to a scraper. The flint is pale brown in colour. It is a tertiary piece of debitage that has had short, stepped, abrupt to semi-abrupt retouch to one corner. This has produced an artefact that could have been utilised as a crude but effective scraper. Probably dates to between c2700 and c1600 BC. The length is 24mm, width 16mm, and the thickness 10mm.

Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy 'Fob Dangler' probably dating to between c200 BC to c100 AD. The object comprises a suspension loop and three arms spiralling from a central hub in a Triskele triple spiral. Each of the arms narrows and curves to form a circle with an approximate external diameter of 18mm and pierced with a round hole with an approximate internal diameter of 11mm. There is a projecting tag near the wards which would be unusual for a barrel tap key so the possibility exists that it may have had some other function, for example, winding a clockwork mechanism. The outer face is decorated with a finely incised feathered border. The back has the remnants of a central loop for thread. There is some damage to the edge of the button. The button has a remnant coating, probably some form of white metal. It probably dates from between c1675 and c1800 AD. The diameter is 27mm and the weight is 4.52g. Post-medieval lead or lead alloy toy whirligig or buzz disc. The toy consists of a flat disc of sheet lead alloy, or lead, with a serrated edge though this is now almost completely lost. The whirligig has two adjacent sub oval string holes near the centre. A similar whirligig is been recorded in Forsythe and Egan (2005), page 390, No 13.8. Dates to between c1600 and c1900 AD. The length is 47mm, width is 41mm and the weight 33.07g.

Post Medieval to Modern lead alloy palm guard or needle pad. It is more or less circular in plan. Objects like this would have been wrapped in cloth then strapped to the hand to protect the palm when tightening cord or using awls and punches in an industry such as leather working or sail making. Palm guards of this design are thought to have been cast on occasion in oyster shells. Dates to between c1600 and c1970 AD. The diameter is 40mm and the weight is 94.85g.

Probably a Roman copper alloy key. It has a round bow which is now cracked through in one place. The shank is circular in section and terminates in a simple 'L' shaped ward. Some of the ward & shank has been lost. Its overall appearance is typical of medieval key but the wards are at right angles to the loop which is more a typically Roman characteristic. Possibly a Post Medieval to Modern lead alloy or lead clack weight from a lightweight pump. Clack weights are part of a crude non-return valve from a simple water pump. The object has a projecting stud but is otherwise featureless. This projection may be the stump of the stud that fitted through a slot in a leather strap inside a box. When water was drawn up the pipe into the box with the spout, the clack lifted to let the water in and then fell back over the hole so that it ran out through the spout into the bucket and not back into the well. Late Medieval copper alloy single loop trapezoidal buckle frame. It is an asymmetric trapezoid in plan, with an expanded outer edge and a recessed strap bar. The front edge and sides of the buckle are bevelled, creating a convex side profile. The front edge has been decorated with four diagonal paired rows of impressed dots. The reverse of the buckle frame is concave and undecorated. The pin is absent. The buckle shares similarities with Whitehead's No.133 and No.167. Dates to between c1300 and c1500 AD. The buckle frame measures 26mm in length, 13mm wide, and weighs 3.28g.
