A complete cast copper alloy socketed axe of Late Bronze Age date (1000 - 800 BC). The object can be classified as the Ewart Park phase of metalwork. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with the cutting edge expanding outwards to form a convex cutting edge. The socket has a sub square mouth, is deep and the insides are smooth. A moulded collar decorates the axe below the mouth on each face. Extending down from this are three raised ribs. The ribs have been abraded and damaged in recent times. The weight has a series of raised lines along the circumference of both faces which differ. These may indicate that the weight was something akin to the modern LANCUM-F199F4, and used in a similar way. The metal's appearance suggests it is Post Medieval. A fragment of a copper-alloy button and loop fastener of Roman date, Wild Class III, c. AD 50 - 200. Only the head remains which is a pointed ovate - or teardrop - in shape with a raised circular boss within a circumferential recess towards the rounded end. The pointed terminal is also raised. An integral shank would have extended down from the reverse of the boss bent at 90 degrees before splitting in to two to form a sub-triangular attachment loop. Possibly an incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch of umbonate type, probably dating to 150-300 AD. One projection houses a double lug attachment. Centrally is a rounded dome with central rivet extending from two pointed corners within which are shallow triangular hollows, which would have contained coloured enamel and traces remain. The leg of the brooch extends outward from the rounded end. The length is 43mm, the width is 25mm and the weight 4.93g.

The mount is in the form of a flower possibly a rose consisting of five petals with small sub oval tabs projecting from between each petal. In the centre of the mount, a hemispherical central boss is surrounded by five raised semi-circular petals, in-between each of which is a slightly curved tab. A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast Lead alloy sub-circular uniface token of Powell Type 14. It is decorated with a cross and pellets on one face wth a pellet in the intersection of the cross and the other side is undecorated. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts; those with this design are generally thought to be Medieval in date, c.1250-1800 AD. The diameter is 21mm and the weight 6.27g.
