An incomplete lead or lead alloy possible Fishing weight or plumb bob, of probable Medieval dating (12th to 16th Centuries AD). The weight is a flattened spherical pointed oval shape, decorated with two incised lines on either side. An incomplete integral circular perforation (suspension loop) is present at one of the pointed ends. The length is 63mm, the width is 16mm and the weight 6.54g.This weight was perhaps used as a sinker for a net or as a plumb bob. Cf. Egan (1998), 310-11, fig.231). Roman copper alloy pin dating from 43 to 410AD. It has a triangular shaped, circular cross sectioned head with a flat top. It has gently tapering sides which are decorated with a series of vertical incisions. These are broken up by a central rounded depression. The head merges into the shaft and the pin is bent and missing its tip. The pin shares similarities with Cool group 6 pins but is a closer match for Cool group 19, which is a Roman type but not firmly dated. Similar to LEIC-37F80D. The length is 30mm, the width is 13mm the weight 2.76g.

A complete copper alloy bar mount dating to the period ADc.1350- c.1400AD. The mount consists of a rounded body with two terminal lobes with surviving attachment rivets. The body is decorated with five ridges horizontal incised grooves. The body is convex and the reverse is concave. The length is 17mm, the width is 9mm and the weight 1.30g. Small copper alloy Button probably tombac dating 1700 to 1900AD. The button is constructed of flat pressed metal with a scar on the back where a separate iron loop has been lost but there are traces of corrosion. The front bears a series of what appear to be incised flowers. Similar to Fig. 9. 109 p.54 in terms of the back and small buttons on p. 75 in Bailey. G. 2004. Small circular cast cu-alloy weight, probably dating 1700 to 1900AD. The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top and an indented centre on the back. There are two pairs of incised concentric circles on the front. The weight was part of a 'nest of weights' and has a small rim around the upper surface in which a small weight would have fitted. Lead alloy Late Medieval to Post-Medieval weight dating 1400 to 1700AD. The weight is very large, discoid with bevelled sides with a pair of incised concentric circles on the front. There appear to be traces of lettering possibly an 'E' and an 'A'. It is probably a trade weight used for mercantile activities (Gordon Bailey Detector Finds 2 (2001) p.29). Copper alloy Royal Artillery Button 1790 to 1840AD. The button is flat and circular in plan. It has a recessed shield-shaped panel at the front. The panel contains three vertically stacked cannons in relief. In a band above the cannons three bezants are separated by a stack of three cannon balls. The object has a single loop sub-rectangular frame with expanded outer edges and sheet roller and a narrowed and offset strap bar with a retained unrecessed strap bar composed of a single plate.
