A late Medieval to Post Medieval undecorated lead alloy vessel or container, dating from c. AD 1450 - 1700. The vessel is D-shaped in section; being rounded at the front and flat at the back. The vessel is open at the top, and the sides taper towards the closed end. There are no attachment holes or rivets visible, suggesting that the vessel stood on its own rather than being attached to a wall. Probably a Post Medieval copper alloy vessel lid handle. The object is sub circular in plan and decorated on one face. The decorated face would have been the upper part of a knop handle. The decoration consists of a raised stylised sun or star burst. On the other face is a central raised circular nub, probably the stub of the stem that would be necessary to attach the handle to the lid. Probably dates to between c1750 and c1900 AD. The diameter is 25mm and the weight 4.13g.

Copper alloy vessel mount and suspension ring, probably from a hanging bowl of early early-medieval date. The mount is openwork and circular, convex on the outer face and concave on the inner face. Coaseware pottery sherd water worn probably dating from the post-medieval period 1700-1900AD although there is the possibility that it is Roman. The sherd is grey with a mica temper and hazing probably due to the water action which suggests that it originally had a glaze. Roman Dressel 20 amphora handle (National Roman Fabric Reference Collection code BAT AM) most likely dating from the 1st to 2nd century. The handle is of oval section and in the form of an elongated 'S-shaped' curve.
