An incomplete copper alloy Early Medieval plate brooch probably dating to the ninth century and of Continental, Carolingian, origin.. The plate is rectangular in shape, with a solid raised border running around the edge. The brooch is divided into three panels depicting a wolf flanked by two birds. An incomplete copper-alloy brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 400 - 600. Probably a small-long type brooch. The head is sub-rectangular with much of the original edge being lost to old, worn breaks. From the centre of the lower edge of the head a D-sectioned broken arched bow extends terminating in a worn break. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The length is 64mm, the width is 20mm, thickness 6mm and the weight 8.48g.

An incomplete copper alloy strip bow brooch dating Late Iron Age to Early Roman - c. AD 25 - 75. One wing, the bow and catchplate remain. The pin is missing. At the head the single remaining wing is formed from a rolled tab and would have housed the missing axis bar for a hinged pin mechanism. The bow is tapering and arched to a rounded foot. Pointed tool made of copper alloy, possibly a sailor's Fid medieval to post-medieval 1300 to 1800AD. The tool is oval in cross section with a domed attachment at one end from which point the point of the tool narrows gradually to a rounded tip. A fid is a pointed tool that was used for opening up the strands of rope when splicing, they are usually made of wood or antler. It could also have been used as a pricker, a tool used in sailmaking, which are more often made of metal. It could be Medieval to Modern in date. The length is 32mm, the width is 17mm and the weight 5.78g.

Possibly an incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch of umbonate type, probably dating to 150-300 AD. One projection houses a double lug attachment. Centrally is a rounded dome with central rivet extending from two pointed corners within which are shallow triangular hollows, which would have contained coloured enamel and traces remain.
