A silver penny of William I type 6 (Sword type) dating to the early-mid 1080s mint and moneyer unknown rev legend. Looks like it reads NLNI and the obverse reads as +[P]ILLELM [RE]X. Medieval or post medieval copper alloy sword chape 1200 to 1600AD. The object is triangular in form and oval in cross section. It is formed from a sheet of copper alloy to create a cone shaped chape with a folded, rounded tip. The object is undecorated and has some damage to the upper edge. An incomplete post-Medieval sheet silver cuff link (c. 1662-c. 1700). Lewis form 1, type A. The pressed cuff link is circular in plan and the edges are down-turned (bevelled) at an angle of about 45° with some damage at the top. The rear faces is concave with an intact attachment loop. At the front, a raised design within a plain border is in the form of two hearts side by side with a crown above. The background is stippled. The surfaces are silvery grey and the front is worn. Probably a Post Medieval copper alloy miniature cannon or mortar. Many of these miniature artillery pieces were fired and are often found with exploded barrels from misfires. This appears to have happened to this example. What remains is the cascable and part of the first reinforce. It dates sometime between c1600 and 1850 AD. Most likely to date between c1650 and c1750, as it is similar in form to pieces in use during that period. The length is 55mm, the width is 29mm and the weight 54.84g.

Possibly a post medieval copper alloy mount or suspension point. Both faces retain remains of a corroded iron attachment. In plan it resembles a short broad arrow. The 'point' of the arrow has a tri-lobed perforation and the 'shaft' is where the iron corrosion is. One face is undecorated. The decoration on the other face consists of a flattened edge which is plain on the sides of the 'shaft' and toothed or crenelated on the bottom edge and on the sides of the 'point'. A copper-alloy mount of uncertain function but possibly related to dress, probably dating to the period AD 1200 to 1600. The mount is openwork and sub-rectangular in shape with four differently shaped perforations in the lower half. There are two tabs probably for attachment on the upper end of the plate. No clear parallels have been found for this object. The length is 55mm, the width is 42mm and the weight 28.25g.

An incomplete and very worn Post-Medieval copper-alloy gilt dagger hilt fitting and guard, probably of 17th or 18th century date. Description: The hilt is roughly t-shaped in plan, the body is hollow and is rectangular cross-section. Both ends expand slightly and have flared rims; the bottom rectangular end has a shallower rim. An incomplete and highly abraded Roman copper alloy hinged T-shaped brooch of uncertain sub-type possibly a developed 'T' shape or headstud, probably dating to c. AD 50-150. The surviving brooch comprises of the upper bow and partial head, with the lower bow, pin and catchplate missing. The bow has a roughly oval cross section: it is fairly flat at the rear and more convex at the front. It curves rearward as it extends downward from the head, before terminating in a worn break. An incomplete Post-Medieval (AD 1650-1700) Toy petronel/gun. The gun consists of the barrel, with the stubs of an iron trigger mechanism which project both above and below the position of the lock. Some of the long cylindrical barrel is missing. It is cast in one piece with a groove along the top edge to accommodate the iron mechanism, mentioned above.
