An incomplete and highly abraded Roman copper alloy hinged T-shaped brooch of uncertain sub-type possibly a developed 'T' shape or headstud, probably dating to c. AD 50-150. The surviving brooch comprises of the upper bow and partial head, with the lower bow, pin and catchplate missing. The bow has a roughly oval cross section: it is fairly flat at the rear and more convex at the front. It curves rearward as it extends downward from the head, before terminating in a worn break.
