Incomplete cast copper alloy cauldron leg, 91 long, 33 mm wide, increasing to 41.5 mm at the foot. It is 14 mm in thickness, flaring outwards to 19 mm at its bulbous foot, and weighs 259 g. The surfaces are pitted and abraded and the everted foot is severely worn so there is little of the base left. The front face is decorated with a single, moulded, central rib and the back face is flat. There are patches of burnt black organic material on the surface as a result of the food that dripped down the leg from the cauldron when it was in the fire. The leg resembles those of a 16th centur…

A complete cast lead standing weight. Trapezoidal in plan, sub-rectangular in profile and rectangular in section. Height 87.5 mm, width 36.5 mm tapering to 33.5 mm at the top, thickness 29 mm tapering to 17.5 mm at the top and weighing 704 g (1lb 8.8 oz). A circular suspension hole, slightly biconical, 9 mm in diameter, has been drilled 20 mm from the narrow top end. The entire surface is covered with a well-developed grey-white patina of lead corrosion product.
