A fragment of a cast copper alloy medieval steelyard weight casing. The casing is decorated with an incomplete shield with a lion rampant facing left. Some medieval steelyard weights carry psuedo-heraldic designs, as this example may do, whereas official London weights carried the arms of Richard Earl of Cornwall, his son Edmund or the de Clares; the lion rampant, the spread eagle or the chevrons (Ward Perkins (1940: 171-173)). These weights are thought to date to the later 13th century AD.

A very worn cast copper alloy early medieval strap end with a pointed zoomorphic terminal, belonging to Thomas' Class A2. The panel has criss cross decoration inlaid with silver or niello, the sides are convex, and the top plate is broken across the rivet holes. In some way associated with the strap end was found an attached pierced circle of pressed sheet silver whose function is now unclear. This sheet measures 6.19mm x 5.80mm x 0.45g.

A cast copper alloy hooked clasp for a book consisting of the top and back plate. Behind the hook is an expanded rectangular area with a groove at the centre and triangular punches above and below. There are narrow incised lines below forming a chevron shape, with a centre rivet. Below again are incised verticals in an M-shape with three holes with two rivets below. The hook has an expanded end and the back plate is plain.

An incomplete post medieval coin counter stamped on the reverse with a fleur de lys inside an oval stamp. There is a trace of lead on one side. This is probably a douzain of Louis XIII of France. Such a countermark of a fleur de lis in oval of pellets revalued the coin at 15 deniers under Louis XIII during the ordinance of June 1640.

An incomplete La Tene III copper alloy brooch, mising its spring and pin and with the upper part of the catchplate present. The bow is 6.51mm wide, tapering at both ends. The brooch is decorated with a groove along each long edge and numerous diagonal grooves between. Late Iron Age circa 20-80AD.
