A lead token of Post Medieval date. One face has a crude pattern formed from lines radiating outwards from the centre, some joining to form sub-triangular shapes. The other face has two raised letters, probably EP. Fletcher (2005, 66-9) suggest that simple tokens with initials on were probably a development of the post-Tudor period and may have been used by farmers to pay the wages of manual labourers. Complete Early-Medieval gilded copper alloy 'axe-shaped' mount, probably from horse harness. The mount is trapezoidal in shape; the longest side curves outwards slightly, whilst the other three sides curve inwards. The reverse of the mount is flat and covered with iron corrosion. The outer face of the mount has engraved decoration, the lines of which are gilded. Helen Geake (pers. comm.), the Scheme's Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds Advisor, comments that the decoration appears to be Style I rather than the Style II common on this type of mount. A complete copper alloy medieval seal matrix. The matrix is pointed oval in shape. To the reverse a slight ridge runs vertically down the centre, with a small, circular suspension loop attached towards one end. On the outer face an inscribed legend surrounds a central motif, divided by a line of dots. The legend appears to read +S' AL[...]ANDE D'TROWE (N in retrograde), probably 'The seal of Alexander of Trowe'. Incomplete post medieval copper alloy pastry jigger consiting of part of the central shaft and the cross bar forming the head. The shaft is is circular in cross-section at the apex and sub-triangular in cross-section where it joins the head. It swells gradually away from the head, reaching its maximum diameter at a point just below the apex. The head is flat.
