An incomplete copper alloy medieval oval buckle with integral plate. The frame is oval in shape and a short, rectangular integral plate projects from its inner end. The inner end of this plate is pierced with two small, circular holes, the innermost of which still holds an in situ copper-alloy pin. The outer end of the plate is expanded slightly forming a sub-square terminal. Description: An incomplete gilded silver bird finial. The bird is heavily stylised with a long body tapering towards the tail with wings neatly folded backwards. Both the tip of the wings and the end of the body are missing. Small legs extend from either side below the wings. The neck is long and thin, but the head is missing. Engraved feather detailing is present on all parts of the body. A complete gilded silver fitting with blue bead found loose inside. The fitting is circular in shape and has a flat back-plate with a small circular hole in its centre, presumably evidence of an attachment to a larger object. The circular setting is formed from a strip set edge-on and surrounded by a collar resembling beaded and plain wire. This appears fairly coarse due to being flooded with solder and gilded. A complete copper alloy early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) finger ring or ear-ring. It is formed from a penannular piece of wire, which tapers to a point at either end, both of which overlap slightly. Its faces are slightly facets creating a pentagonal cross-section. The surface of the metal is corroded.
