A complete lead vessel repair or pot mend. The object is an irregular oval shape with a groove running around the centre of the outer edge where it would have sat within a break in a vessel originally. There is a circular indentation in the centre of one face. Lacking diagnostic details only a broad Roman to post-medieval date range can be suggested. A copper alloy medieval to post-medieval cooking vessel leg. It is trapezoidal in cross-section, culminating in a small out-turned foot. The outer face is sooted in various places. The metal is greenish-brown in colour and very corroded. Due to its simple form only a broad medieval to post-medieval date range can be suggested. A copper alloy medieval to post-medieval vessel leg. It is triangular in cross-section with a longitudinal ridge running down the centre of the outer face. There is a sharp break across the upper end. The foot is worn and corroded making its shape unclear. As the form of cooking vessel legs like these changed little over time, only a broad date range can therefore be suggested - c.AD 1350-1700 Length: 42.13mm, width: 33.75mm, thickness: 16.60mm, weight: 107.97g
